If you’ve ordered from True Nature recently, or you’re about to, you’ll notice something different on our tubs and on our website. We’ve redesigned our labels.
What’s changed
Each of our six dishes now has a new side label. The change is in the order of the names.
- The English description now comes first and largest. You can see at a glance what’s in the tub: Chana Dahl, Chana Masala, Dahl Makhani, Dahl Vegani, Dahl Yoga or Tangy Green Soup.
- The Indian name is smaller. It’s still there, because it’s part of what these dishes are.
- “Vegan” moves into the small print. Every dish is still 100% vegan. We just don’t think it needs to be the loudest thing on the tub.

Why we did it
We’d done some research into how people choose their food. Many people shopping for a hearty, flavourful meal want to know first what it is and how it tastes. Whether it happens to be vegan is secondary for them. So we put the English description at the front and let the Indian name sit alongside it.
Nothing about the food has changed. The recipes, the ingredients and the way we make them are all the same.
Where you’ll see the new labels
- On our website now. The homepage and all six product pages already show the new labels.
- On new tubs. From now on, every new tub we make carries the new label.
- Tubs you may already have. Some tubs with the old label are still out there. Don’t worry if you get one. It’s the same dish inside.
Have a look
Take a look at the range and tell us what you think. Which label do you like best? We’d love to hear from you.
